Well, I'm not thrilled with how the sawdust "clay" experiment came out. The shrinkage factor is tremendous, as you can see in the bowl. It slid down the side of the mold while it was drying and shrunk so much I could barely get it to come off. And when it did, it cracked. However, as the bowl dries it is becoming very hard. So I still think this stuff has possibilities, I just have to figure out the best way to use it.
The tiles are shrinking as well, but it doesn't matter so much because they are flat. But I really don't like the fibrous pieces sticking out the sides of the tiles.
